Park Pilates - FAQs
What should I bring with me? A mat is essential. Additionally, a water bottle, and ankle weights if you have them.

Do I need to book? Yes, advanced booking is essential. Events sell out quickly, so its important to secure your spot & supports me in keeping everyone safe.

What happens if the weather is bad? As this is an outdoor class, please be prepared to embrace the elements! If there is light rain, the event will go ahead, please dress appropriately. In the event of heavy rain or adverse weather, an alternative location or date will be offered.
What should I wear? Comfortable layers are key! At 6:30 AM, it can start off a bit brisk, but you’ll warm up quickly once we start moving.
I’m a beginner—can I still join? Absolutely. The class is designed for all fitness levels. I’ll always show different options and progressions for the exercises, meaning you can take things completely at your own pace. Please let me know any injuries or medical history you would like me to be aware of when booking.
How much? Prices are drop in (£12) & separate to any Wednesday Club passes or memberships.
Can I cancel? All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable
Are there toilets or changing facilities? Because we are out in the open park, there are no public changing rooms or toilets available during our early morning sessions. Please arrive dressed and ready to move.
Is there parking available? Yes, there is local on-street parking available around the perimeter of Roath Recreation Ground (such as on Ninian Road or Alder Road), which is usually quite quiet at that time of the morning. Please check local signs for any parking restrictions. Please aim to walk and cycle where possible & please be mindful of our neighbours.
Can I bring my dog? Yes, absolutely! Well-behaved dogs are more than welcome to join us on the Rec while you workout. To ensure everyone stays safe and can focus on their Pilates, we just ask that your dog stays on a lead during the session and remains comfortably next to your mat. (Top tip: Bring a small blanket or towel for them to settle on, as the grass can be a bit damp at 6:30 AM!)
